West Sussex based Rolls Royce creates 100 jobs
17th January 2014

Luxury car manufacturer Rolls Royce has announced the intention to create over 100 jobs, as sales have soared over the last 3 years - many based at the company's Chichester plant.

Half will be in marketing, sales, public relations and the company’s bespoke business. The remainder will be in engineering and manufacturing, and directly linked to the production of the company’s latest model, the Wraith, which is still in pre-prodcuction.

“I am delighted to announce this recruitment programme, made possible by the continuing success of our company,” said Torsten Müller-Ötvös, chief executive officer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

“Our cautious optimism at the beginning of the year has proven to be correct and our goal for the business remains the same: consistent, sustainable growth.

“This process continues through the creation of a significant number of new roles and our ability to attract the very best talent in the manufacturing and luxury sectors.

“Rolls-Royce is a great British manufacturing success story. We now enter the next chapter of this company’s history and can look forward with confidence to a bright future.”

“The working environment at Fresh Egg HQ in Worthing is integral to the success of the business. The exceptional office space we benefit from would simply not be possible to replicate in other locations such as London, the costs would not be commercially viable”.
