Exciting Opportunity for Strategic Planning Adviser

The Coastal West Sussex & Greater Brighton Strategic Planning Board[i] is looking for a Strategic Planning Adviser to lead and drive forward its work programme. The individual will be responsible for the refresh of its Local Strategic Statement that received the Royal Town Planning Excellence Award 2014 for Innovative Planning Practice in Plan Making in 2014

Formed in 2012, the Board brings together political Members and senior officers from 9 local planning authorities to identify and manage spatial planning issues. These issues impact on more than one local planning authority and support better integration and alignment of strategic spatial and investment priorities to deliver sustainable economic growth.

 

  • Salary: circa £24,483 (£60,393 pro rata)
  • Grade 11
  • Terms: 15 hrs 2 days a week
  • Temporary 2 year contract
  • Closing Date: 22nd January 2015
